If you ever need a tool to help with audio cues during a production, Qlab could be that tool.  I use it for all audio cues including solo tracks.  This is the swiss army knife of audio playback and best of all there is a very usable FREE version.

      QLab has a rental license for very cheep if you need more channels of audio, video, and midi control.
